This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal data when you visit arabic.design, create an account, place an order, download a product, contact us or otherwise interact with the website.
1. Personal data we collect
Depending on how you use the website, we may collect:
- Identity and contact data: name, email address, telephone number, billing address and shipping address.

- Technical and usage data: IP address, browser and device information, approximate location, referral source, pages viewed, interactions, cookie identifiers and security logs.
- Marketing preferences: whether you asked to receive or stop receiving promotional messages.
Please do not send sensitive personal data through the website unless it is specifically required and we have asked you to provide it.
2. How we use personal data
We process personal data only for identified business purposes, including to:
- process payments, fulfil orders and deliver digital downloads or physical products;
- create and manage customer accounts;
- provide customer support, correct files, process eligible returns or refunds and resolve disputes;
- send transactional emails such as order confirmations, receipts, download links and service notices;
- protect the website, customers and business against fraud, abuse and security threats;
- maintain accounting, tax, legal and operational records;
- improve website performance, products and customer experience through analytics;
- measure advertising performance and show relevant advertising, where permitted; and
- send promotional messages only where you have chosen to receive them or where otherwise permitted by applicable law.
Depending on the circumstances, processing may be necessary to perform a contract with you, comply with legal obligations, protect legitimate business and security interests, or rely on your consent. You may withdraw consent for optional processing at any time.
3. Payments
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe or Tap, depending on the payment method available at checkout. We do not intentionally store full payment-card numbers or card security codes on our own servers. Payment providers process payment data under their own privacy and security terms.
4. Cookies, analytics and advertising
The website uses essential cookies and similar technologies required for functions such as the shopping cart, checkout, account access, language selection, fraud prevention and security. These technologies are necessary for the website to operate.
We also use services that may collect technical and usage data, including Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta Pixel. These services may use cookies or similar identifiers to measure visits, interactions, conversions and advertising performance. Where consent is required, optional analytics and advertising technologies should be used only after you make a choice through the cookie controls. You may also restrict cookies through your browser settings, although blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the store from working.
5. Who may receive personal data
We disclose only the data reasonably necessary to service providers that help us operate the business, such as:
- website hosting, security, caching and technical-support providers;
- WooCommerce and related store, multilingual and download systems;
- payment processors, banks and fraud-prevention providers;
- shipping, fulfilment and delivery providers for physical orders;
- email-delivery and customer-communication providers;
- analytics and advertising providers such as Google and Meta, subject to applicable consent requirements; and
- professional advisers, regulators, courts or public authorities when disclosure is legally required.
We do not sell personal data as a standalone commercial product. We do not disclose customer contact information to unrelated parties for their independent marketing.
6. International transfers
Some service providers may process data outside the UAE. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to use providers and safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data and applicable legal requirements.
7. Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including order fulfilment, customer support, accounting, tax, fraud prevention, dispute resolution and legal compliance. Retention periods vary by record type. When data is no longer required, we delete, anonymise or securely restrict it where reasonably practicable.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable UAE law and any lawful exceptions, you may ask us to:
- confirm whether we process your personal data and provide information about that processing;
- access or obtain a copy of relevant personal data;
- correct inaccurate or outdated data;
- delete data that is no longer required;
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- withdraw consent for optional processing; or
- stop promotional emails by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us.
To protect customer data, we may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We may retain information where required for legal, accounting, security or dispute-resolution purposes.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we identify a data incident requiring notification under applicable law, we will take the required response and notification steps.
10. Children
The website is not intended to collect personal data directly from children who cannot lawfully provide consent. A parent or legal guardian should supervise purchases or account creation by a minor.
11. External links
The website may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for their content or handling of personal data.
